About Seattle Pharmacy Relief
Seattle Pharmacy Relief is hiring passionate pharmacy professionals for multiple positions including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, inpatient pharmacists, and relief pharmacists. New graduates are welcome. Prior experience is not required for most postings. Training will be provided when necessary. You will not be required to operate unfamiliar software systems without ample support from internal staff.
Work sites include settings such as specialty pharmacy, community health, tribal, independent, long term care, vaccination clinics, compounding, and prior authorization assignments. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in various settings. Full-time, part-time, and relief opportunities available.
Pharmacy Technician
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, inventory management, and patient service. Great for career starters or career changers.
Pharmacy Assistant
Support pharmacy operations and customer service. Perfect for those seeking flexible hours or extra income.

Pharmacist Positions - Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Responsibilities (Pharmacists)
- Commitment to providing patient care that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
- Administer immunizations following State Collaborative Practice Agreement
- Successfully complete clinical services according to relevant case load
- Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions
- Compound medications when necessary
- Verify prescriptions and medication safety
- Counsel patients
- Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns
- Maintain quality assurance procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members
Minimum Qualifications (Pharmacists)
- Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing, with State Board Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Active Washington State pharmacist license (Required)
- Immunization certified (preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance
Pharmacy Technician Positions - Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Responsibilities (Pharmacy Technicians)
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Receive and process prescription orders
- Manage inventory and restock medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records in pharmacy systems
- Process insurance claims and billing
- Label and package medications accurately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Comply with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
Minimum Qualifications (Pharmacy Technicians)
- Washington State Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain (training available)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills

- Basic computer skills
