Seattle Pharmacy Relief is hiring passionate pharmacy professionals for multiple positions including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, inpatient pharmacists, and relief pharmacists. New graduates are welcome. Prior experience is not required for most postings. Training will be provided when necessary. You will not be required to operate unfamiliar software systems without ample support from internal staff.

Available Positions

Job Responsibilities (Pharmacists)

• Commitment to providing patient care that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
• Administer immunizations following State Collaborative Practice Agreement
• Successfully complete clinical services according to relevant case load
• Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions
• Compound medications when necessary
• Verify prescriptions and medication safety
• Counsel patients
• Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns
• Maintain quality assurance procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members

Minimum Qualifications (Pharmacists)

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing, with State Board Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Active Washington State pharmacist license (Required)
• Immunization certified (preferred)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance

Job Responsibilities (Pharmacy Technicians)

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Receive and process prescription orders
• Manage inventory and restock medications
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Maintain accurate patient records in pharmacy systems
• Process insurance claims and billing
• Label and package medications accurately
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Comply with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols

Minimum Qualifications (Pharmacy Technicians)

• Washington State Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain (training available)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Job Responsibilities (Pharmacy Assistants)

• Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with daily operations
• Assist with inventory management and organization
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally
• Process payments and handle cash register operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Pharmacy Assistants)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Basic math skills
• No prior pharmacy experience required - training provided
